First Elevation emerged from the collaboration of two friends who recognized a gap in business assistance and resources for underserved communities. They observed a strong ambition among business owners to achieve more, yet they faced significant barriers due to lack of resources and support. Many businesses expressed a need for grants or websites, but lacked readiness for such steps. First Elevation stepped in to provide these businesses with their initial boost. Drawing from their own experiences of launching a business with minimal support, Sherrie and Sherrie pooled together over 15 years of combined expertise in business and nonprofit sectors to make a difference.
